Founded in 1957, ILKALEM A.S., operating in the composite industry with its unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy vinylester resin, gelcoat, colored gelcoat, pigment paste, bonding paste, mold release agents, PVA based adhesives and auxiliary materials.   With its wide range of products developed in its R&D laboratories under ILKESTER brand, it is the solution partner of companies in the composite industry, especially in the building-construction, automotive, boat-maritime, defense industry, agriculture and food, energy sectors.   Thanks to its state-of-the-art production network, R&D equipment, experienced sales, production and R&D teams, Ilkalem produces special products by offering fast solutions to the demands of its customers and becomes the solution partner of its customers at all stages from pre-sales to after-sales.   ILKALEM A.S. operates in two different locations in Istanbul-Tuzla and Adapazari-Arifiye regions. With the capacity increase works carried out at the Istanbul-Tuzla facility, the production capacity at the two locations has reached a total of 100,000 tons/year as of 2023.   ILKALEM A.S. serves in line with its TSE-ISO-9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety System and ISO IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System certificates. It exports 40% of its total production to 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.   ILKALEM A.S. adopts a growth model that ensures the sustainable use of natural resources in line with its sensitivity to the environment. As a result of the studies it has started with this understanding and has been conducting in its R&D laboratories for a while, it has included bio-based general purpose fiber type, fiber type requiring chemical resistance, RTM, pultrusion and casting applications with the use of bio-based raw materials.
